NRVC Copyright/Permission Request

All NRVC vocation materials are copyrighted by the National Religious Vocation Conference and are protected by United States Copyright Laws. The copyright owner is the only one who is authorized to reproduce the material. If another party wants to reproduce the materials in some manner, permission must be obtained from the copyright owner.

NRVC materials may not be reproduced or transmitted in any form by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording, or by any information storage and retrieval system, without permission in writing from NRVC. When exceptions are made, they are so noted on the materials.

To request permission to reproduce NRVC materials, please put your request in writing and mail to NRVC permissions, 5416 S. Cornell Ave., Chicago, IL 60615-5604 or email mail@nrvc.net In your written request clearly state:

Your name, title, organization, and contact information.
What specifically are you requesting to reproduce? State title of resource, author, reference page numbers, and other pertinent information.
Where do you wish to use the materials (e.g. website, discernment retreat, community meeting, part of a new resource, etc.)? Note website address, name of retreat, congregation/organization, etc.
The timeline for this request (e.g. for a specific day of reflection, classroom visit, or Vocation Awareness Week.)

NRVC expects that the person or organization requesting permission has purchased the resource from NRVC or is in some other way appropriately acquired the content.

All requests made will be reviewed in a timely fashion by NRVC staff, and you will be informed of the approval or denial of your request. If permission is approved, a formal Copyright Use Agreement will be drafted that will contain pertinent information and the appropriate citations necessary for notation. NRVC will also determine if there are any costs related to the request. Once the Copyright Use Agreement form is signed and returned to NRVC, your request will then be considered formally approved.
