From January to June of 1998 NRVC conducted over 200 gatherings with parents all over the country to get their feedback on what they found encouraging about religious life and priesthood, what they found discouraging, and what would help them as they discussed such options with their children. The National Religious Vocation Conference continues to distill the meaning of the wide variety of parent input it has received through regional and national parent gatherings.
