HORIZON, Vocation Director's Manual, VISION

HORIZON

HORIZON is an award-winning quarterly journal for vocation ministry. It is an essential resource for the professional and personal growth of vocation directors and those interested in the future of religious life.

HORIZON provides timely articles on all aspects of vocation ministry and related topics within religious life. With nearly 2,000 subscribers from around the world, it is widely respected for the quality of its content. HORIZON is a member publication of the Catholic Press Association. It is available in print, pdf, and digital formats.

To find articles on a particular topic, type the topic in the above search box. Subscribers can find articles dating back to 1999 in the HORIZON Library area. A more detailed index by subject of all HORIZON archives may be found in the Word document HORIZON subject index. An online list of the HORIZON editions and their themes is also available. We also provide a Word document listing, by date, the contents of every edition of HORIZON, the HORIZON annual index.

NRVC vocation director's manual

The NRVC Vocation Director's Manual is now on-line for Members here. This Manual is a compendium of presentations, articles, case studies, power points, etc. related to vocation ministry. This digital version provides NRVC members current information on 47 categories that are contained within 8 main topics relevant to vocation ministry. The result: NRVC members can access over 700 articles with just one click!

VISION vocation guide

This award-winning multimedia publication is the most comprehensive resource for those interested in religious life. VISION's print guide, published annually by the NRVC through TrueQuest Communications, provides fresh and lively articles on prayer & discernment, religious life, Catholicism, and being a sister, priest, brother, and missionary.

The guide, also available in a digital edition and downloadable app, contains an expansive religious community index with descriptive listings of hundreds of participating communities in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, and Italy.

NRVC produces several vocation resources for vocation ministry, awareness, education, and discernment. Resources can be purchased at a discount as a benefit of membership and by potential members for an additional cost. Resources are available in English and Spanish. Read an issue online or in digital format by keying in the year and the word Horizon in the search box at the very top of this site on the right. You may then click on the issue you would like to view.
